Thames Valley Recorder Orchestra

The Thames Valley Recorder Orchestra was founded in 2007 by Helen Hooker and Anne Helmore and now comprises some 45 of the south’s finest recorder players, playing eight different sizes of recorder. We perform a wide variety of repertoire, from original works by twenty first century composers to arrangements of music from the 13th century to the present day. In recent concerts we have performed several pieces featuring guest soloists, including Steve Marshall (tubax), Rosemary Robinson (spinet) and Kevin Webb (trombone).

For information about our next concert, on Sunday 23rd June 2024, please visit our Events page.
