TVRO’s Musical Director, Helen Hooker is a recorder player, teacher and conductor who is based in Essex.  She studied recorder under Philip Thorby at Trinity College of Music, graduating in 1993.  She now combines a varied career, performing teaching and conducting. Helen has a longstanding interest in recorder orchestras and has conducted TVRO since its inception in 2007.
