TVRO Members’ Area

The Thames Valley Recorder Orchestra is currently at full capacity and we’re not able to take any new members for the time being. If you would like to be considered to join if places become available please continue reading…

The minimum standard to join the orchestra is grade 6 level, although this is a nominal requirement as many recorder players haven’t taken any exams on the instrument.  We rehearse from 2.30 to 5.30pm on one Sunday per month, from October to June, at Knowl Hill village hall, The Terrace, Knowl Hill, Reading, Berkshire. RG10 9XB.

The rehearsal dates for our 2021/22 season (subject to Covid-19 restrictions) are as follows:

2022: May 8 and June 19

Our concert will be on Sunday 26th June 2022 at Newbold College of Higher Education, St Mark’s Road, Binfield, Bracknell. RG42 4AN

23 October, 27 November, 11 December, 8 January, 12 February, 19 March, 23 April, 21 May, 18 June, Concert on 25 June.
